Ops platform / ops CLI
ops CLI
The ops command line client. Sign in, deploy, follow logs, set secrets and publish docs from a terminal or CI.
ops is the command line client for ops. It talks to the same API as the console, so
every command is checked against your role and written to the audit log. The package is
@syncronet/ops-cli.
Install
The quickest way is the install line in the console: open your project, go to Develop, press Copy beside the install line and paste it into a terminal. It installs the current release for your machine and signs the machine in, with a code that works once.
You can also install it from the ops npm registry. It needs Node 22.18 or newer, which runs
the TypeScript it ships directly. Add the registry to ~/.npmrc with a token that may read
packages:
@syncronet:registry=https://ops.syncronet.dev/npm/
//ops.syncronet.dev/npm/:_authToken=opst_...
npm install --global @syncronet/ops-cli
ops login
The trailing slash on the _authToken line matters: without it npm sends no token.
First commands
ops login # sign this machine in with a device code
ops projects # the projects you can see
ops use rungholt # the project the other commands act in
ops resources # what the project runs
ops logs -f # follow its logs

There is no ops exec: ops never opens a shell inside a container, from the CLI or the
console.
